hello everyone i have all three after tents its only an evolution thing,
1. gic camper trailer is 18' x 23' size 7' x5' metal trailer the rest is ensuite, lounge and large kitchen eating area under cover.
really good for a bunch of drunks at Bathurst camping.
2. my Beautiful AVAN good for 1 or 2 people to trip around Australia in some comfort but it is small and cosy.
3. the new soon to be fitted out as a home office for my self or with husband if he behaves.
COVID 19 has caused a problem with the repairs and up grades to it because it has been 50 years since it was looked at or even kept free of moisture leaking into it, yes it is a vintage CORONET caravan built around 1960+ or minus 5 years it looks like a squashed mushroom.
we have stripped it to the skin and will be replacing all the frame that is wood for new improved hardwood and home made furniture. it is only 10'L x 6'W so it is a small very light van.
this is my first project thank you for adding me to the GREY NOMADS as i am only 62 yo and i hope to be able to meet some of you soon. KEEP SAFE AND STAY HEALTHY.
Welcome to GN's Kerry, You seem to have all bases covered - at least with mandated stay at home orders you may get more of a chance to get your little Coronet rebuilt to suit your purpose.
We also have a Off road trailer and a large caravan - although neither is currently able to be used - the Kids seem to have taken over the Off road camper - The Grandkids love it and we get to see them more often when they go camping.
Soon we will be out and about again (I hope) wandering around this great Country.
