We have enjoyed a night there, it was most pleasant, we woke up with ice on everything, it was amazingly fresh in late March.

Hope to spend some more time there when we can travel south again.

WTF

Yarrangobilly Caves entrance and exit roads are graded gravel. They're suitable for 2WD and 4WD vehicles up to 12.5m in length,

however the Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) advise that the roads are

unsuitable for caravans.

In most cases RMS advice on suitability is not only concerned with road surface - more important is the ability to allow vehicles to pass oncoming vehicle or vehicle ability to turn through a curve in road safely with regard to height, length, width and the weight on the road surface.

The road into the caves is one-way,It is quite good, thought it said no caravans, checked on Google earth and not suitable for caravans.

You can do a self tour of the Sth. Glory Cave, make sure you have a torch, good foot ware as there is wet stairs and a jumper or jacket as it is pretty cool even in summer.

Its a great spot. Weve camped there a couple of times, right beside the river. Some young guys walked the river past our van and were pulling in pan sized trout. Bitumen road access. Toilets are(at the times we were there) clean. Camp spot is close to the road, but very little traffic. A short drive away are the Yarrongobilly caves.
