Alice Springs Caravan Park Recommendations

We are planning to spend some time in Alice Springs in Aug and having read some of the reviews it  seems that break ins to vans and cars is common. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a safe park that is not on a main road?

Does anyone know if there are any good station stays (farm stay) for caravanners around Alice?

thanks

Jangar - no "safe park" within AS Township other than Caravan Parks - I suggest you use WikiCamps app to locate a suitable camp.
I suggest Dr Google for station stays www.australiangeographic.com.au/travel/travel-destinations/2013/08/top-10-outback-station-stays/

Thanks Possum 3. I did check Wiki camps and most parks do have issues Re security. I think Wintersun park looks the best

You can try the Transport Hall of Fame. They have powered and unpowered sites. Good rates. Just a short drive into town and we felt secure there. No bells or whistles, or grass. But not packed in like sardines either.
