Reminds me of the wet seasons we experienced in Innisfail in the late 50s early 60s.   The Boulders in full flood is an impressive sight.    Went swimming there lots in calmer times but stayed away from the Devils Pool.   One standout difference to those times is that the Wet Season and cyclone season happened a lot earlier.
