Fastest Wedding Fleet

Back in the day, 1971, we reckoned we had the fastest fleet of wedding cars, certainly in Albury.

One- 351 GT XY HO Falcon- Red of course

One- 351 GT XY Falcon - Also Red of course

One-  XY GS, 302 Falcon

One-  XY Fairmont 250 2V

And a 2850 Torana for the Flower GirlsDSCN3130.JPG

WOW! That HO is exactly the same as one I had back then. One nice car indeed. However, I swapped it for a XY Panel Van and decked it out like any sensible surfer would. I also had the long blond hair to go with it. They were a real 'chick magnet' as well even. Hard to say what one I actually liked better as both were for different reasons.

My first drive of the XY Gt (auto) I came up behind a slowish car, I was only doing maybe 80mph, went to slow down, and the owner(passenger) grabbed the gear shift and yanked it back to second. Wow, be like Elvis, go man go!!!!, around that car in a flash and close to the ton.

I had a Ford 351 XY to tow my BOAT back in the early 90's. I couldn't work out why the police keep on pulling me over until someone told me that it was a hoon car.
