Aldi phone plan

Is there anyone out there having problems with aldi phone? Mine has started not receiving calls but automatically sending calls to voicemail and my data only works in certain localities. We have three phone on aldi and untill recently they have been fantastic but all three are now doing the same. Im wondering if it might be Telstra network as my home nbn keeps dropping out for a few minutes every now and then, but its on my republic but using Telstra copper to the node whigh is about a kilometre away.

Dont you just love modern technology?

cheers

Ashley

Hi Ashley,

We both have the Aldi plan and we reside in Logan City.

No Issues here with us.

Maybe it is the rural area in which you reside.

When on the road we use Telstra.

Anyway next time you are in Noosa drop into Telstra.

That happened with me with the Telstra network, it made me move to Aldi, then I stopped using the phone, so Aldi recently sent me an email to make a payment, I umed and ahhed over it and then just forgot. No phone how, and don't miss it.

Are you in a heavy rain area? Perhaps the transmitter is water damaged

Thanks everyone. I think I will try going to Telstra.

From memory, Aldi & Woolworths use the cheaper form of the Telstra network - giving coverage to the more highly populated areas but with nothing to the rest.

If you want the best coverage, unfortunately, you have to pay for it.

Of course as has been stated on here many times in the past, if you want Telstra full coverage without the price then the best option is Boost.

Hi I have had Aldi for a long time and I am traveling no problems. I have found if I have a problem I turn the phone completely of leave for 60 seconds and turn it back on. Often fixes the problem.
