Insect screen

Has anyone ever changed the mesh in their RV screens? We have those common plastic, dual glazed type. Forget the brand. Pull up blind, pull down screens. Small midgees seem to walk through the screens side by side. The Windows are a good concept but we have found them lacking in insect proof and fragility.

You can buy very fine insect mesh from Bunnings,
I have fitted them to my van but have not tested them as yet.
Best of luck.

The old insect screen replacements in my van come with the choice of standard or Midge proof mesh.  My Daughter replaced her home fly screens with midge poof ones that work very well.

I'm sure that someone out there manufactures the finer mesh ones for your windows/doors.  Midges are a world wide problem so there is certainly a world wide market for them.
