i agree Cupie, im thinking i will sell the BT50/ranger soon and look at Prado petrol/ desal, havent heard of many problems at all with them.

They have had DPF issues like most other vehicles fitted with DPF .

 Sorry to burst your bubble but like most other auto vehicles towing...your tranny gets bloody hot!  The factory cooler fitted is ok for everyday use EXCEPT towing. If all vehicles came with an Ultragauge or a Scangauge people would be horrified at just how inefficient their vehicles temperature alarms are.  If you do a lot of towing the only real proven way to control your transmission and engine temps is to fit a lock up kit from MM 4X4    https://www.mm4x4.com.au/
