Pacemaker and batteries in caravan

Will my Pacemaker be affected by the storage of batteries under my bed in the caravan please?

Anyone have problems or solutions please?

If you do an Advanced Search on 'pacemaker' there are 10 threads.

Maybe there is a bit further discussion in some of the threads other than induction cooktops.

Having been involved in pacemaker design, and that of many other invasive medical instruments, I can confidently say... no, your pacemaker will not be affected by the batteries or their control electronics under your bed.

Aside from some obscure industrial processes you are most unlikely to come into contact with the only things you need to avoid are the antennas of high power (10W+) radio transmitters and... hhmm... nothing else I can think of :)

Have a chat with your cardiologist and/or the local agent for your pacemaker manufacturer.

Welcome to the gang Jules, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I have been told you can't use magnetic health products including magnetic bedding if you have a Pacemaker.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Morning Phil,

Woollen underlays and pillow protectors with magnets in them. Great fir aches and pains but can get hot during summer months.

Just don't go to bed with metal on or you will get attached.

To the magnets that is.

Magnets are not a problem for pacemakers.
