4 months on the road!

Hey everyone, I have been on the road for 4 months now and this is a vlog with the verdict so far!

It seems so far that it takes around 3 months for people to get used to this lifestyle. (from what people tell me as well as my own experience) Is that the case for you? Would love to know!

Main thing that takes getting used to is that you are not on holidays so don't need to rush around doing and seeing everything in 3 weeks - and that it is perfectly allowable to sit in one place forever if it suits

Thank you Tamsun for your blogs and the inspiration contained within.
I too, will be permanently on the road within a couple of months and in part of my own
research, came across this website and your blogs.
I also have much to learn regarding motorhomes but I have travelled considerably across this
country previously in both caravans and camper trailers.
At my happiest on the road, it is quite a scarey thing to contemplate full time life on the road
but this has been my lifetime dream since I was a little boy now approaching 70 years of age.
I too follow my heart and place great faith in my life journey's purpose and guardian angels.
Thank you once again and happy travels to you.

Firstly thank you for your kind words and a big congratulations for preparing for a life like no other. It is such a big step and I really think its important to connect with others and feel that sense of community. So thanks for reaching out. I think when we let go of the need to control and just allow the universe to support us with our goals and dreams then we can live very joyfully. Would love to be updated on your journey. Where do you plan on travelling to? Do you have a motorhome which feel cool to purchase? Feel free to connect whenever!

Thank you Tamsun. I am still sometime away from beginning the next part of this life's journey and have to wait for a property to sell and settle.
I am having to content myself with just looking at motorhomes and kicking a few tyres at present but I am sure it will happen.
Like yourself, I feel very connected to the earth and have done since I was very young but unfortunately ill.
I always used to dig holes in the ground big enough to place my hands within and pretend (?) that I was growing out of the earth.
My guardian angel once told that there is not a plant or tree that does not already know that I love it.
Probably should not put such things on an open blog like this but I have no doubt you understand.
I would one day love to tell you my story. I look back upon it and don't believe it myself sometimes.
Thank you for responding and would love to connect sometime.
I have no immediate plans, such as destinations, when I do finally get on the road but it will be mostly be the eastern seaboard of Australia and parts
of South Australia. I plan on combining destinations with the potential for work to earn a little pocket money plus take in any folk or music festivals.
It sounds to me like a dream come true just to even talk about the possibility of this dream becoming reality. Mum always said if you wished hard
enough for something, it will come true. Well it took it's sweet time but it's almost here........
I am a Victorian, born and bred but currently live on the south coast of NSW.

Ah yes well we all start somewhere in prep for the future, weather that be an unconscious thought or an in depth planning of sorts. Ahh yes but the looking is fun too no? The picture within the minds eye, the daydreaming. :)

Ohhhhh I love that!!! That must have been an experience for you to connect with the earth that way? I actually would love to do that, and I just may! Your guardian angel is very wise and they are such beautiful words! Ha yes probably not the usual type of convo on forums but definitely my kind of topic of discussion. I run earth based mindfulness sessions that you would completely get.

Festivals sound great! I used to attend many but my choice in festivals are very different these days. yes it is in your vision it seems quiet clear and your mum seemed very wise too! :D You will have to update me as you go along! :D
