I realize Eastern Staters can't help, but any West Aussies who have travelled recently.

Seeking info on the Ashburton Downs - Meekatharra Rd condition.

Is suitable for off-road caravan, 4wd or 2wd.

Not for some time, but the roads out there are typically pretty good to drive on. I would not anticipate that they would be any issue to you in a 2WD.

As with P & M, it is a couple of years since we were in that area but I would say those roads are generally well maintained. Ring the local councils/police for current info

As long as you know that road reports are only valid until the next rain or until the corrugations return, whichever comes first.

Did it last year and no problems at 80kph with van attached. Few wash outs but they were signposted
