I don't know if anyone can help me with the following please?

I recently purchased a CODAN 9360 HF SSB Transceiver fitted with TXE and TX free tune.

I have a few low channels, i.e. 2182 (marine distress) being one and when I put it in as required 218200 I get the message "Value Too Low", I have been trying to find it in the manuals without any luck?

 

Hope someone out there can help.

2182 is a Marine distress channel.

www.radiomanual.info/schemi/Surplus_Civil/Codan_9323_9360_9390_9780_serv.pdf 2250 is the lowest it will go unless it has had an option fitted. Check out the service manual.

OK Thanks for that, What option may that be as I also have a 9323 and it has number of low ones fitted. I can actually program the 2182 into it without any issue?

What is TXE and TX free tune? Although I can probably guess the latter.

What antenna are you planning to use?
