Geist 535 Caravan.

I am trying to prepare a 2004 model Geist 535 caravan for sale from a deceased estate. Unfortunately the left axel has been damaged beyond repair. Although there is apparently one available from overseas it is very expensive. Has anyone replaced the original axle with an Australian one?

Hi ILJ,

Welcome, Does the van have stub axles? never mind. Yes you can get most axles off the shelf. If not, we have Manufactures that will see you right. Some you can buy over the counter for as little as $100-150.

Start with E bay caravan parts.Under Boat trailers heading, I have seen one seller there with hundreds on offer.

Mr Google is your best friend. Let your fingers do the walking.

Welcome to the gang Ian, enjoy here and out in the playground.

When you say 'left' axle do you actually mean spring confuse The reason I ask is, to my knowledge that model Geist only has one axle.

Keep Safe out there.

Hi ILJ, a warm welcome from me

I do not actually know anyone who has a Guist caravan, but have seen them on the road, at a distance

There are a lot of friendly and helpful people on this forum, perhaps if could put a picture up, of the broken part, it may be helpful

Someone may know, of somewhere (Engineering/Fabrication mob), who could either repair, or manufacture that broken axle for you
