Welcome to GN's, Normally caravans are individually made and wiring diagrams are not provided - it would be unusual to have a dedicated manual let alone a wiring diagram - Additionally being 8 years old there has most likely been modifications to the van.

A good Auto Electrician should be able to trace and work out the majority of your wiring and electric components - A good sketch with Electrical components and part numbers should be quite doable. Do you have a specific need for a wiring diagram? If so ask a question regarding the specific problem you are trying to solve.

Yes I do. I am getting electric b rakes fitted to my car. I am not in possession of the van and the electrician asked me to see if I could get a wiring diagram so he could fit an anderson plug at the same time.The current owner of the van does not have one and Regent have been taken over since 2012 and have no records.

Hi Prawn
The auto elec should be able to wire everything on your car as per standard trailer wiring and fit the Anderson plug alongside, as long as he has the earth in the correct spot there should be no danger of a short. When you get the van plug in and see how it goes.
I agree with Possum, caravan wiring is a moving art.

Hi Vince. Thank you. He is doing just that at this very moment. Apparently it was his off-sider who I spoke to on the phone who said they needed the diagram. Hopefully all fixed.

If your tug vehicle only has single battery ensure that your "Leccy" wires in solenoid prior to Anderson Plug to prevent draining battery with fridge operating 12v without motor running.

Annotation 2020-07-27 172416.jpg Apparently, most caravan makers wire their models of vans similarly, but as has been said, most are customised in some way so they never give out a wiring diagram. I ordered a new van with a few optional extras and asked to view the van as it was being built, before the skin went on. I took photos of sides, front, back and inside so that I knew where the wires all went. The idea behind that was if I wanted to fasten things on to the van further down the track, I wouldn't be drilling/screwing into electrical wires. This has proven to be a very good move, particularly when I recently fitted an extra camera on the rear and could work out where it was safe to drill, fasten, and run the cable up to the front of the van. I also fitted some hooks and other gadgets on the front and sides of the van and knew where it was safe to do so.

For a van bought as-is, figuring out the wiring is more problematic, but for a sparky experienced with caravans, it should not be too difficult to work out what goes where, even if how the wires get there is a mystery.
