On those nights when you dont feel like cooking, you cant go past a cheesy potato Galette. This crispy galette is so easy to make with only four ingredients you most likely already have lying around in your kitchen. Pair it up with a nice piece of steak or some steamed veggies and enjoy!
If youre looking to add something else, try serving with sour cream and chives for an even tastier flavour.
Ingredients
80g butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, crushed
50g parmesan cheese
1kg red potatoes
Method
Preheat oven to 200C. Brush a 20cm springform pan with melted butter.
Combine remaining butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl. Peel potatoes and slice as thinly as possible. Line base of the pan with a layer of potato slices, overlapping slightly.
Brush with butter. Sprinkle over two tablespoons cheese and season with salt and pepper. Repeat layers four times to make a total of five layers.
Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 55 minutes. Stand for five minutes before serving.
