Trying to work out the border crossing declaration. Heading to Qld from Canberra with our van next week. Do you tick the cross border resident box? How long does it take to be approved?
We have ours already. It takes less than a minute to get your email if you have been approved. But check the categories. There are 24 of them. If you check "none of the above", last option, then your approval will be declined.
There is NO tourist category. Unless you are a resident or one of the essential workers then you wont get approval.
I called QLD health about this becasue we will be doing something similar. There will be a new form available on the QLLD Health website from midday Friday (10th July) that applies to those crossing into QLD after 10 July. Don't fill in the current form. I was advised that, providing the information meets the criteria, you should receive an email reply within the day, if not almost immediately.
