Another R.V product Coromal and Windsor to move to Brisbane.

https://www.timetoroam.com.au/coromal-windsor-sold-apollo/

Coromal and Windsor caravans to now be produced in Brisbane.

Now we being the proud owners of a Coromal Princeston are very happy that they will now be making the product in our city.

Both the brands have been to hell and back over the last few years under the ownership of Fleetwood.

Why.... well my guess is P.P. Management.

Let's hope for the betterment of the R.V. industry in Australia that Apollo will revitalize both brands.

Before you start celebrating, take a look at customer reviews on Apollo's existing businesses. As a past owner of one of their existing brands I was less than impressed with their approach to service and support. However, if it allows two iconic Australian brands to survive which otherwise wouldn't have, then I guess that's a positive.

If their product, service and support doesn't cut the mustard - Iconic or not they don't deserve to survive.

I must say that I know about zero re Appollo.

Hope their business plan improves with the new additions to their operation.

Given the treatment that two of my mates have had from an Apollo owned dealership, I wouldn't hang by any sensitive parts of your anatomy hoping they will be better than Fleetwood. Out of the fat and into the fire imho.

Well.................I own a Coromal 661 S (sliding room) since 2016. The support I received has only been good. Don't judge a brand by the dealer. My battery died after 20 months. Warranty is 23 months. A new battery was delivered to me at home on the farm, within 3 days. Small items sorted out at services. I have never kept a van this long. Don't have to do repairs when camping, like some brands have to.
The slide out is running on 4 rollers, others are on 3 rollers. Just a good quality built caravan.

I have no doubt your Coromal is a good van Jacob. The dealership in question here, that was taken over by Apollo, handles other Eastern States brands and my mates each bought one of a different brand. Both had issues with their vans, the brands of which shall remain nameless, but the after sales service at the dealer since Apollo has taken over is nonexistent. Both mates were forced to go to the respective manufacturers of their vans to get some satisfaction. To the manufacturers credit both got the problems sorted but no thanks to the dealer. I might add that the dealership is an old established one that had an excellent reputation until the change in ownership. As I said, hopefully the same will not be true for Coromal and Windsor vans.

Similar to my experience Greg. The van itself (a European brand) was excellent, but Apollo staff from the salesman who sold it to me, through to the country aftersales manager, were the opposite! I get the feeling Apollo are growing too quickly, with sales volume the priority, but support and service aren't keeping up.
