Welcome to the gang Thunda, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Nice offer there Thunda so I weighed myself to see and came in at 86lb so that's me out but then I woke up. Not happening and I tell you that for free.

Enjoy the flight and maybe road trip later but,

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

We are leaving Port Lincoln tomorrow and making our way north aiming to cross the NT border about 20th July (If it opens)

Expecting the northern migration to be in record numbers so will just take it as it comes.

Damned cold here so need to thaw out.

Had the Van all ready to go to Nth Qld (Townsville).
Dave went to Drs and now has to get some skin Cancers removed.
Then some delightful young man went through our front fence.
So now we have to get that fixed.
Ah well. Perhaps next month

What are you flying?

Snippy. Sorry to hear that, me too. I had a cabbage (you know what l mean) and knew that CASA ( Cretins Against Sensible Avation) would pull my PPL and my flying days would be over. But l was told that l could still fly under a Basic Class Two medical (Google it). I have a Vans RV 4, (previous to that a Pitts S1) the RV was registered VH and l changed it over to RAAus. My doctor that has treated my for many years passed me fit to fly eight months after the cabbage, they gave me new fuel injectors, and lines, reconditioned my fuel pump filter change and cleaned out the rest of the fuel system. I'm past 70 but feel 30. Now I'm about to have an annual done and with a maintenance release I'll get an airworthiness certificate and change back to VH, then l can get back to aerobatics. Don't give up flying, if your fit enough to drive you can fly a P51 Mustang on a Basic Class two medical through your GP. I have a new life after a big scare, no more smokes, good diet and proper exercise, l feel like lookin fer a strong young filly, gittin into double harness an workin over some good ground.

Soon I bloody hope! I am not going far (doing a course to fill in time, have a dog needing major surgery - he did a leg right before lockdown) but plan to run for the red dirt as soon as humanly possible. And to stay there! This damp weather has whiskers on it!
