While l'm out of action l decided to watch some of the american videos cheap rv living on youtube. I saw the original documentary on tv years ago and never realised how much this movement has developed. Intresting to see income potential from so many videos and subscribers.
Some of those shows are good. The last 3 months have been the cheapest we have had on the road. only driving to nearby shopping once a fortnight, dr, not shopping for much else and staying put. No take aways. No rsl meals, no grandies near to buy for, no swimming pool entries, no sales, no attractions, no caravan or car repairs, no buying dvds, Etc. life is good.
I"m not so much intrested in the money bit of the US "Cheap RV living" videos, its the exit from the "American dream" to chase basic living and community that intrests me.
Hope your surviving the cold Doug, bloody freezing here!
Hey rocket, your not wrong about the lack of spending at the minute. I just got out of hospital after a lengthy stay so didn't have to buy food, fuel or gas either.
I have spent a couple bucks on some DVD's this week and extra internet.

I must say that l was a bit scared due to some cases in town while having major surgery. The hospital was fantastic though, I could see how thorough they were about cleaning and protective gear so soon forgot about it. The drugs did help!
Hi Rocket and Strop. I am, have been and will be for a while yet in the Wangaratta area Nth East VIC. I have been allowed to stay here and have decided to stay UFN as I don't trust the CV19.
Stretch. Keeping as warm as can but it is different to Townsville this time of year. -3c as a write this. All good and no complaints. Are you where we last met?
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Yeah Doug,
I'm just a minute out of town at a friends farm. I left greens just before they kicked everyone out, l knew l would be here for the winter so needed somewhere to plug in to keep warm.
It looks as if the subject has changed slightly - just hope my two bobs worth won't be too far off the track.
As Anna has given us permission to travel around the state, we're heading south in a couple of weeks for "Chilly Toowoomba" - I've been told my sister-in-law has ordered another load of wood for the heater. First stop will be Capella, then Toowoomba all going well with (not-so-nice firm) new springs on the car (the 3 leaf sets are dangerous, prone to breaking they tell me).
I'm sitting here at 9.20pm, dressed in shorts & a worn out T-shirt with a breeze blowing through the back door - may have to close it soon as it's getting cold!
We'll top up with fuel at Charters Towers, get a snack & head south for Capella - a nice, friendly caravan park & onward from there.
Doug, I'll send you a PM.
