Hi folks, has anyone had a gas hws replaced in Melbourne? If so where did you get it done? Every caravan place I have contacted don't want to know. Have talked to Hardings, Jayco Bayswater, RV centre, all to no avail.

I had one in my Jayco replaced by Ashmores at Pakenham who are part of Coast to Coast.

While away in WA I dealt with another Coast to Coast for an antenna issue.

Both have been stress free to deal with.

Had ours replaced at Jayco Ballarat. No drama.No issues. Cost $1200 I think.

What model gas HWS is it?

If a Suburban, you might struggle to get a replacement until the problem with 17400 recalled units is solved!

Yes it is a Suburban 23ltr. I want to remove it and replace with a Truma instant hws. I will talk to the guys at Ashmores Pakenham, (a bit nearer than Ballarat!} Many thanks    Bob and Collo for your info. Have been thinking about changing over for a while and problems with the Suburban have made the decision for me!
