Sounds good Erin, nothing wrong with sugar used in moderation, just not a good idea to live on a diet of sugary drinks and take away to the exclusion of all else, as many do nowadays.biggrin

Sugar is making you sick.

Maybe youve heard that eating sugar will give you heart disease, Alzheimers, or cancer. But eating sugar in moderation isnt going to shave years off your life. An American Journal of Clinical NutritionTrusted Source study that followed more than 350,000 adults for over a decade found that added sugar consumption was not linked to an increased risk for death.

The heart foundation is advising sugar be eliminated from diets, along with fat and salt. Except for good fats. Broadly speaking Fat from Salmon, avocado, nuts, grains and olive oil.

I think of the heart foundation as the fun police. anything we might like to eat is bad for you.

However, sugar and fat will make you overweight and this will definitely have a bad effect on your heart and salt causes plaque in arteries to harden (Heart Disease).

However, I'm still a sceptic in spite of being told I had had a heart attack. (didn't feel a thing).
