As readers here will know from previous posts, I have been involved with the Sporties club in Tuncurry NSW with their RV overnighting scheme for the past couple of years. The scheme has been wonderful in offering a place to stay for several thousand RV travellers annually, and brings thousands of dollars into the Forster-Tuncurry district each year

During the Covid-19 Emergency :-
Sporties RV overnighting site REMAINS OPEN and AT NO COST to all RV travellers who are otherwise isolated from their home due to government travel restrictions =&/or= for those RV travellers who may have no fixed abode

Signs on-site give more details and contact phone numbers for RV travellers on arrival

This offer from Sporties is aimed towards ANY RV travellers who suddenly find themselves stuck on the road as they do not have a home to go to.  It is not designed to offer a recreational point for those people wishing to break the government's c-19 messaging

Travellers who fit into the "homeless" category are welcome to stay for up to 7-days. 
Sporties is awaiting further government bulletins before reviewing this time period
