same at Mornington Peninsula.
The local councils would much prefer to put themselves and their insurance companies before public safety and convenience.
What a perfect place to spread out a few itinerant nomads, safely, and allow them to spend a few $ in the area.
There is even an existing toilet cleaning contract in place.
But no, too difficult, close it down
I think you'll find they are closing things down to protect their community which usually has only 1 doctor (if lucky) and chemist which is barely sufficient for the towns' need. Most of these towns have also suffered raids by busloads of people who empty the supermarket shelves and leave nothing for the locals so the last thing they need is an influx of old people who will most probably overload their limited medical facilities.
Its starting. Those that go to work & come home to sleep will be OK. "They" will get rid of the rest of us.
Have you noticed that all the things that make life worthwhile are now banned. conspiricy theory here
Two days ago Meredith Park was closed down. So we towed to Simpson rec ground. Three hours later that was closed. We sold our house in Feb and are about to build another. So onto our block of land we went prior to building permit obtained.
Tough titties for the local council, we are not moving.
