Brewers warn beer supply could dry up within weeks if coronavirus restrictions halt production
On Sunday, as Victoria and New South Wales flagged shutdowns of non-essential services, Australia's biggest brewers warned the country could run out of beer within weeks.
Some will lose their homes. Shortage of beer will be the least of their problems as will be border closures and self isolation. Maybe in several weeks time it will dawn on some that this is a major pandemic

Personally couldn't give a toss about the beer, but I do know the only reason for issuing a 'warning' on something is to create a call to action! Exactly the thing that incites panic buying and stockpiling

I just stocked up to go bush , spent my last penny on food and fuel , caravan rego and plates $262. , inspection ,"blue Slip"$90. everything cancelled . Everone told to stay home . I am well stocked , for isolation , sit here and watch the trucks go by with my camera that can see down to the highway , a block away . Listen to the radio "tripleJ" and Report to the Grey Nomad Forum .
Might get the UHF out of the tug and talk to the drivers , to see what's happening on the Great Barrier Highway.
Just been up the roof washing the dust off solar panels , can see the littler things on the highway, the procession of caravans heading North has started again .

Latest from Triple J News . Rules to be relaxed at Grog venues , not sure how it works but you may be able to fill up your own bottles from the Tap . Sounds like a good Idea . I should know Used to have the odd problem myself , until a Tyre blew up on a low loader I was driving with a D7 bulldozer on the back . Went off like a IED , then the truck took me on the wrong side of the road , put the trailer brakes on and the handle broke off in my hand . Hit a table drain , went for a fly and landed in some trees and a muddy bank . My travelling companion "PRICK" the ****atiel , sat there for an hour with his mouth open , in shock . I developed a bit of a problem after that , and gave up . That was 4 years ago .
