There is concern about South Australia's border closure in the outback New South Wales city of Broken Hill.

Anyonewho enters SA will be required to isolate themselves for a fortnight.

Broken Hill is about 40 minutes away from the border and has traditionally had stronger social ties to Adelaide than to Sydney.

BrokenHill mayor Darriea Turley says she's seeking immediate clarification about how the closure affects local residents.

Usually see heaps of Grey Nomads getting about , but hardly any about ! I finally got my van out of the shed , just in time , been there two years .
