access door replacement Thetford 4

I have a damaged access door , the plastic frame needs to be replaced, I can get a frame from caravans plus , however I need to get the door insert away from the existing frame , needless to say I have no idea how this is done

has anyone had the same problem ? , and hopefully the solution.

It looks like the insert pushes into the frame and perhaps is glued to the plastic frame , but I cannot see how to remove the insert without damaging the old frame

If you are replacing the frame, why does it matter if you damage the old frame?

About half way through the video (link attached) you'll see how the insert panel is fitted, depending on the glue or sealant they used will determine how you can remove the old panel from the existing frame.  In any case you'll most likely have to sacrifice the old frame to get the panel out.

Thanks for the help, Thetford #4 door replacement arrived and was easy enough to install, apart from the usual mess with the sealant.
