Northcliffe w.a. Low cost camping..."SIDD'S CAMPGROUND"

Recently camped at Sidds campground, just out of Northcliffe and what a great place to be..Had been blown inland after a couple of days on the coast...The location being only a couple of minutes out of town was good . We filled our water tanks in town, topped up supplies and headed out.. Now Sid has done a lot of work around the bush block campground with showers and toilets scattered throughout the many camping areas which are big enough for groups or small private areas with plenty of shade....Powered sites are available at $10.00 per day/night...The showers are good and hot and all the loo's have instructions  on how to operate the skid brushes...Sid does ask that you take your rubbish out with you and the big bins are in town next to the dump point, where you also will find fresh water. Went in there with the plan of staying a day or two,and pulled out four days later...The cost for adults is $5.00 a head, and the rugrats $1.00 ea...Noticed a good amount of solo travellers and at head prices like that, easy camping.....I really enjoyed my time there and i hope you do too...

Welcome to the forum markmack, and thanks for putting up your recommendation

My home base, is about 200 Ks from Northcliffe, so I will keep it in mind, when I am next in that area

Hi MarkMack

Would I have trouble getting in and out with a 22' van?

Cheers

Hi Chris, This thread is over 3 years old so site may not even exist anymore. Might pay to phone first. Good luck.

Sid's Campground has changed hands and is now called Northcliffe Bush Camp.
