My rigs over the years

It's raining today so can't do much. I thought I'd put together a collection of my rigs over the years.

My tow vehicles have been petrol jackeroo, commodore, diesel rodeo, & BT50 ( 220,000 klm & still going strong.)

The oztrail camper lasted a few vans. It was a good overnighter & went a few places I wouldn't take a van.

Looking through old photos stirred up some memories

Cheers Pete

Photos have a habit of doing that Pete. It's always good to look through old photos and bring back good or bad memories. I prefer the good ones though.

Unfortunately I don't have many photos of my vans and tow cars and with my poor cataloging system I can never find what i want but, from memory, are were...

1971 XY Falcon,

1975 XBGS Fairmont,

1998 80 series Cruiser,

2007 Triton,

2010 Triton,

2015 Isuzu D-Max manual and currently

2017 D-Max 6 speed Auto.

Vans have been

(unknown model) 15' Franklin,

Early '70s 22' Millard 2 door,

1980 36' Coronet,

2001 15' Coromal Semi Offroad,

2007 18' Paramount Delta,

2013 212' Retreat Fraser then the current

2016 21' Jayco Silverline.

By far the best has been the Silverline.

Cheers

Neil

 Hi Doug

There's been some bad times in my past, Just have to breeze over them & focus on the good.

2015 I spent 5 months travelling NSW. I went from the Qld border down to Batemans bay & from the coast out to the Newell. There's lots of good memories & photos from that trip.

Cheers Pete

Hi Delta 18

You've had as many vans as myself. Looks like you've had a few more tugs.

I came across a couple at Tweed Heads who  had 5 new vans in 10 years. They reckoned they finally found one that suited them.

That's why I have a bit of a chuckle when people come on the forum & ask what van should I buy.

I've only been vanning since the 90's. Prior to that it was tents for about 30 years.

Cheers Pete
