second hand parts for jayco starcraft

I have just purchased a Jayco starcraft 1998 14.5  The flap at the front is missing. Any ideas of where I can get a replacement. Im sure it has a formal name Its the part that covers the zip windows in the pop top  starcraft.jpg

Thank you Patrick

Dunno how big Orbost is,but I believe that there is a Jayco dealer in Bairnsdale? Otherwise, any caravan sales place would likely know of a canvas shop that could help you,or steer you in the right direction.Looks pretty simple fix to me.....Good luck.Cheers

Call a local motor trimmer (Check yellow pages or Google). You will end up with a better product at a fraction of the price of OEM.

The only flap I am aware of in the Jayco poptop window is inside. None are on the outside.

Is that the one you mean, as our Sterling that we owned only had the flap inside, as you can't get at the outside to open from the inside.

I may have the wrong end of the stick of course.

Patrick
you will get them from Jayco spare parts ask for the one with fine mesh midgie wire
The front and back are the same and held in place with velcro just rip the back one off
and double check. Take it with you to Jayco or a good caravan supplier, these do wear out, the mesh goes after a while so
they are a replacement spare.
Lots of Jaycos models are the same so should be easy to get one
cheers Bob

Thank you for that.  Have contacted Jayco in Bairnsdale they have ordered one $76.  We haven't been caravanning for 5 years and its like starting all over again.
