After struggling to catch our Motorhome door when opening and closing I have come up with a bit of a dodgy idea, but it works, I used a bit of light rope as detailed in the photo and it works a treat.
I drilled holes in the grip for the rope to pass through and tied a couple knots at the back of the door grip so the rope wouldn't slip if only one piece of the rope was pulled.
This has made it so much easier to catch the door before it slams open and also when inside you can pull the door shut without bending over.
