Flying High

Not sure about these 2 videos, bit of fake news/photoshopping going on..........though worth a look for those who don't like flying.

No sparks or grass dug up, just doesn't look right.

That's why we travel by road, SWMBO likes her feet on the ground...........cheers Bob

First one is a fraud.
So is the second, but it was done on a 3D flight simulator, so would be somewhat representative of what might happen (except for the lack of damage to the motors).
Cheers,
Peter

smilesmile Probably be more realistic, if in the first one, we saw the truck driver running away smilesmile

biggrinbiggrin In the second one, do not believe that the wheels or engines, would have stood up to the strain biggrinbiggrin

These are  the reasons why, planes are not trustworthy nor do I trust plots or ground staff, and I don't fly because of these reasons, a few years ago, after an accident at home, I woke up in an Air ambulance on the way to John Hunter Hospital landing at Raaf Base Williamtown, I was quite upset to realise I was in a something the size of a hang glider, and wanted out, I had to be held down as, no nurse was on board only an assistant to the pilot. I had been knocked by drugs. So woke up early. It was scary a hell. I have genuine reasons not to want to fly, due to an aircraft accident when I was serving, and 2 very near misses in civilian aircraft, so can no longer fly. I just don't trust aircraft anymore.

Safer than pushbikes :)
I had a flight as a patient in RFDS Pilatus VH-FMC in 2001. Brilliant aircraft and the smoothest landing I have ever experienced.
Cheers,
Peter
