No. Our garage is 5m & the awning on our car scrapes under the door if I'm sitting in the car. Street parking is a lost cause!
We broke a roof rack bolt on the northern end of the Oodnadatta Track with tyres at 24psi. Roof rock is overloaded but I was putting fuel into the car as soon as I could.
We had spare bolts & tools so could fix the roof rack.
The sign board at Lake Eyre South lookout, we also drove to Lake Eyre North, the road was a bit rough at 24psi but I'm glad we did it. We walked out about 2km onto the lake. Found out latter we shouldn't have done so for safety, 100 metres maximum, but we were aware of time & shadow position of the sun. We also had put on extra clothes as it was pretty cold that day. I can see how easily one could get lost with no defining features around you.
A brochure we picked up at Strangway Springs:
A good meal in Oodnadatta, I would pay more for this in Manly!
