Shoes for your stretcher!

This post is for hose who camp in a tent. Most stretchers have pointy legs, that can damage the floor of the tent. They apply a lot of force in a small area, especially if you are on the large size. Also, my stretcher, although sturdy without any wobble, the base of the legs do move a bit when I move around on the stretcher, which will apply a tearing action on the tent floor.

So I devised a simple solution, "shoes" or "coasters" for the legs, to spread the weight.

I posted the how-to with pictures at my blog:

Hope someone finds this useful!

Thankyou, we have a queen for when we camp in the tent down some rough 4wd road, and have been using light soft rubber matting, but have thought of what you have just suggested, maybe we will give it a go.

These are the best tents we have used.....been camping /caravanning since late 1960's.  Kamp- Rite. Comfortable every night regardless of terrain or weather.
