Just ask at reception or if it's a free camp ask one of the neighbors creating the crowd-they can't all be lost!smile

JPEG images have an "orientation tag". Many browsers and image viewers ignore this tag, causing the image to be rendered incrorrectly.

In fact all my browsers get it wrong. Check "Your browser's attempt" to display some test "Fs" at the following URL:

https://magnushoff.com/jpeg-orientation.html

Note that the image that we see in this thread has been resized and reconverted by the forum's software, so it is not the same file that was generated by your camera. I would view the original photo file in your browser and compare it against what you see when the same file is opened by your image viewer software.

What you could try is to convert the JPEG file to BMP in your image editor, and then reconvert it to a new JPEG. That's assuming that your image editor displays the correct orientation for the original file. This should get rid of the orientation tag and confirm that it is the source of your troubles.

If the picture was taken with a phone camera with location turned on it will have the latitude and longitude in its properties

Some cameras also store this data

Capture.PNG

In my example 31 is degrees, 55 is minutes, 59 is seconds
It needs to be entered into Google maps in this format -31°55'59", 115°57'41"

To type the degree symbol use your keyboard hold down ALT and type 0176  = °

Drove down the Mary Valley last week on the way from Scarness (Harvey Bay) on the way. To the Sunshine Coast. Overnighted at Kenilworth Showground. A very pretty drive certainly much more interesting than the highway. The showground was an excellent place to overnight. We did leave a few dollars in the town via the cheese factory shop across the road from the showground. Cheers,
