Glad to see that you got your suspension sorted, and that the RAC gave you some assistance

I was a bit alarmed about your struggles doing the three point turn, in the sand
I was thinking to myself, that this is a reason, why people in remote places have communication, if not travelling in tandem

Thanks Tony, we do have an PLB & and satphone if all else fails.
Tonight we are in Kalkarindji (Wave Hill) & heading north through the Gregory/Judbarra' NP's 4wd tracks to Timber Creek. By the time we get there in 2 to 4 days time I expect we'llbe ready for a dose of smooth smooth bitumen all the way to Katherine!
