Mildura to Broken Hill Mobile reception.

Can someone tell me if there is Telstra or Optus (3G or 4G) mobile phone reception between Mildura and Broken Hill.

Appreciate any advise.

Just Google Telstra coverage, and youll see it all there. You can even select 3G or 4G to see respective coverage maps.Cheers.

Coverage is pretty patchy out that way Chris, you will probably be fine within 20 kilometers of Mildura and broken hill, that means approx 250 K's without reception.smile

Have yet to travel that road, will in the future so I had researched it, a few weeks ago

I agree with Santa

Looking at Camps 10 book, there are five camps showing

3 camps are showing phone coverage

2 camps are not showing phone coverage

We must be looking at different maps? Mine shows reception for  about 75km out of both Broken Hill and Mildura, with coverage for about another 30km around Lake Popiltah, meaning there is not much more than 100km without coverage. But who cares.... its hardly what youd call wild country, with a sealed highway the whole distance.Cheers

We've stayed overnight at Bunerungee & Popiltah Rest Areas on the Silver City Hwy a few times. There's virtually no reception at both of them
