Surprise would not have thought of Corella dam near Cloncurry having Crocs.

Although I think there is another Corella Dam,somewhere in N.Terr. Would expect Crocs there.

I maybe, could be ... wrong

Freshies are ok providing you don't threaten them or go near their nests.

For quick ID, they have longer narrower snouts unlike their cousin, the estuarine. Largest size is about 3m (10ft).

Unless absolutely sure, it's best to consider any waterhole in northern Australia as being a home for a croc or two. It's a bit late when you're doing the "crocodile roll in the middle of the river"!
