NRL State of Origin ..(S.O.O.) it is on again

It is time for a cold XXXX and a pie or pizza, as we are about to witness the first NRL SOO for 2019.

Now being a Queenslander, if naturally must barrack for the Mighty Maroons.

As long as the Maroons give a 100% committment, that is all we can ask, as for the results.

Well we will know by around the 10.0pm mark tonight.

I will not be at Lang Park tonight, but I will still have the best seat in the house.

Go Queensland

It might be about the fridge performance keeping the beer cold  No idea if XXXX tastes better cold or not, just calling it beer could get one into a technical argument wink The Blues will dominate for a few yrs, a few Hahn Superdry  in stubbies will possibly be consumed while watching the excitement.

I for one liked the score board result.

Queensland was certainly the better team on the night.

I don't know what Kevie Walters said to the boys a half time, but it certainly spurred them onto victory.

A number of missed opportunities by the boys in the Maroon and the result could have been even greater.

Yes, it is beyond me why bloody Beattie ( Chairman Of NRL) wanted to take the game over to Perth which is a city dominated by A..F.L.

Now have you noticed that in the NRL regular season, the players do not have their respective names on their jerseys.

But the S.O.O. players boldly and proudly displayed their names on their jerseys.

I have sent an email to NRL lodging my complaint re the ommission the the players name during the regular NRL season.

All they seem to be interested in is Corporate Dollars.

Dopn'texpect a response from NRL

I too enjoyed last night's game.

I even got a compliment from SWMBO for not yelling at the TV during the game.  Hint .. Turn off the sound so you don't have to listen to the Guss Gould & Rabbit's rubbish.

Gee I loved the look on Gus's face at the after game discussion.

Only problem is that I sat down to re watch it at lunch today & it was playing it OK.  I pressed stop rather than pause on the remote & now I can't find it on my HDD plugged into the TV!!

Got all the games that Qld wins back to 2013 but not this one.  Buggar.  Just have to find it on Utube , NRL site or wherever.

Well they made their changes Ron, but the wrong ones, know they have two out of form halves from the same lowly placed club. Gus must have something over Freddy. The  Maroons will have the crowd support and win by 16.

What a great day we had over here in Kwazulu Natal the SOO live via wifi up on the big screen, seafood buffet and as much to drink as we liked courtesy of the boss. 20 Aussies hailing from every state in the land had an absolute ball - the outcome was irrelevent other than bragging rights for the blues supporters (or at least until the next one). it just shows regardless of where you come from Australians love a good sporting contest - go you blues..... Cheers BB

As a Mexican that follows QLD during this exciting time because I am in QLD it was a very disappointing game last night indeed. If QLD are serious they will have to get their game together real quick to take the series.

Well done though NSW.

Well, I never thought I'd find it in my heart to praise the Blues ... But it is so much easier to be unemotional about the game when I have the TV sound on mute & don't have to listen to the Gus Gould & Rabbits rubbish.   I was silent for the whole couple of hours & didn't have even one drink!

I thought that the Blues game changed with their new gear.  They played beautifully for the whole game which is a first in decades.  A clinical destruction of the unimaginative 'one out' play of the once Mighty Maroons.   I find it hard to find any part of the game where the Queenslanders were on top.

But we've been there before & our boys will rise from the ashes once again to stun the ****roaches.

Now I know what the Blues have felt for the last decade or so.
