Cold weather

Cold morning here in Logan City Brisbane area with the temp down to 7 degrees but the westerly wind had it feeling like 3 - 4 degrees.

That is cold for Logan.

What is the temp where you are.?

Early winter, so looks like a very cold winter period.

thank God for global warming or we would all turn to ice.

Here in Port Douglas, it was 19 degrees at 8am this morning and beautiful on the golf course.

Nothing wrong with a bit of cold weather, put a woollen jumper on.

We're doing some birding at Eulo Bore east of Cunnamulla.

3 degrees this morning a cold & windy 14 degrees during the day.

Rivers still running high from QLD floods, a carpet of green from a South West QLD region 100mm rain event.

Lots of Cuckoos calling.

I was in Toowoomba today - at 1pm the BOM said it was 6.6 Deg - feels like -3.3 Deg. That's a negative 10 Deg wind chill factor . It was a 45 kph south westerly. A bit rugged for this Hervey Bay boy.  On the bright side I discovered that the Jeep has not only a seat warmer, but it boasts a steering wheel warmer.  pity I had to get out occasionally.

It fell to 15 here in Townsville! But the maximum didn't get much higher (19).
Pat was in Toowoomba with an apparent temp of -5!
It's been a coolish (23) day here today in Townsville with a decent breeze blowing.

Olive Oil,
Have you been to Bowra? 15kms NW of Cunnamulla - is a AWC property & managed by Birds Qld.
