Years ago we purchased our caravan 12 volt TV from this MOB. Very poor sound and no support from this MOB. However for other reasons we had to replace same again from this MOB. Sound is a little better this time round.
Fell into the trap again recently when we purchased a wireless head set for me to hear our home TV,
Item arrived, but it was missing the power adaptor.
They wanted a photo of what arrived.
UNBELIEVABLE.
This MOB must think I am trying to get an adaptor for nothing and I have nothing to do but to waste my time trying to prove to them that we are short one adaptor.
The communication channels between this MOB and any customer is virtually no existent.
All communication is via internet. There is not direct line that I could find.
NEVER AGAIN will I buy from this MOB.
Suggest that others follow my lead.

You never know what or who does the wrong thing in a large organisation to bring it into disrepute. go-getters some time act as loose cannons.
Personally i have bought to tvs from Kogan and numerous other things, including a Samsung phone from the dick smith branch.
I honestly have never had a problem with any purchase at all.
Its just to say that the bigger they get and the more they dominate sales, we have to expect exponential problems. I will continue to buy off them.when they first started they made their name with the great replacement service of their goods on warranty.
I submitted this post went to Google and found this phone number with time to restart this page and add an edit to my post. Not as hard as you seem to find at all.
I typed this into Google

A different company.
A spring broke in a front door lock. I had to photograph it as it was too hard to describe the part to make it clear from my point of view. I had the receipt as well, about 4 years into the 5 year warranty. All I asked for was the simple spring, 1 of the 2 springs broke & I could put in the new spring.
They sent an entire new lock without any questions. So now I have plenty of spare parts, including 3 springs!
Some companies obviously have a much better view to public relations!

I guess we could all find different stories about various retailers and suppliers.
Several years ago I bought a 24", 12v TV set from Kogan for my caravan. After 15 months of good use, it refused to turn on.
As I believed it might be a simple or cheap repair, I contacted Kogan for their advice. They sent me a free postage label and I posted the TV set to them.
It was returned a week later, free of all costs and repaired. It is still working well. After that experience, totally free shipping and repair of my TV set, 3 months out of warranty, I have complete faith in Kogan.
As Dieseltojo says, you never know what some individual in a big company like Kogan may do with any customer claim made and that decision, if bad for company image, might be reversed if queried.
Cheers,
Roy.
I bought a couple of phones from them and had no reason to test their after sales service because the phone gave me no trouble, they were Samsungs.
Having said that, there is an element of risk with any online purchase that should be taken into account.
Setting a maximum amount you are prepared to commit to an online purchase can minimise that risk.
Bought a Dyson V7 stick vacuum cleaner from Kogan 2 months ago. It was advertised at $399 incl. delivery, a full $200 less than all the usual bulk stores were asking. Item arrived on my doorstep within 48 hrs, couldn't be happier.

Document every interaction with the company, in the meantime, a diary will be useful in court! If you speak to them on the phone, send a follow up email & say as per our discussion....... Contact Fair Trading to get help or at least some pointers. Usually you only need to mention that you have contacted Fair Trading & the company jumps!

JayDee. Not a criticism of your attempts to contact Kogan or a defense of Kogan and I hope your issue can be resolved sooner rather than later. It's always best to wait a few days and then escalate your complaint rather than repeating it (with ANY non-contact complaint process). Kogan is now acting as a sales channel for other retailers too which might have an effect on the response process. Sending multiple emails on the same issue in a short time can have a few consequences and is usually ineffective. Sometimes it triggers the complaint process to re-start of the content is detected as the same issue (Telstra and Optus both use this technique). Sometimes it can trigger SPAM filters (a large company would normally turn off these filters but circumstances can change). It's even possible your own incoming email has system has defined multiple responses as SPAM and cleared them from your Inbox. The human factor can't be ignored either. You used to be able to interact with Kogan staff through feedback in your order history and you can also talk to a human if you start an order but can't complete the process or just want advice not apparent on the website. It's been some time so I can suggest the exact processes.
