We were at both last year, both were interesting formations, although Wave Rock I thought it would be longer, oh well, but still liked the formation! Wave Rock & similar rock outcrops in WA are used for water catchment, the wall is not the prettiest but a good idea to say the least & you see this water catchment system being used extensively in the region, once you are aware of it.

Murphy's Haystacks, an honesty box at the entrance, well worth the few dollars for a pleasant walk around the rocks, there is a lot more than what you see from the carpark or main road.

The second last pair of photos is the rock hill above Mulka's Cave, 19km north of Wave Rock. Last but not least not to forget simply enjoying the look of the Salmon Gums in the region.
