insect controls

We are inundated with tiny flying insects when the lights are on. All our windows & door are screened. What is the most effective prevention.

thank you, Rosemary

There are also rechargeable UV bug zappers on the market now (through USB). I have one on order but haven't tried one yet. I guess you have tried things like thermocell ? Yellow lights instead of white help too.

you might need to check the fridge and microwave vents - we had to cover the back of ours with midge proof mesh (Bunnings) . Bugs also get in through the rubber slits surrounding the window locks. We also replaced the fly wire in the door with midge wire. Also helps to leave the outside awning light on when sitting inside
