FRANKLIN TASMANIA

Franklin Foreshore Reserve , $10 per night or 4 for $30. Toilets, tap/drinking water, dump point. Max stay 4 nights. Set on the picturesque banks of the Huon river and good base for tripping to Huonville, Geeveston, Dover etc.

Historic buildings, great pub, seafood delights.

This time last year we stayed at the Geeveston RSL. Nice grassed site, water, toilet and a little river to watch the platypus, and a 5 min walk to town.

The RSL was very friendly and the locals more than happy to have a chat. Lovely town with great services, and; great coffee.

We loved it.

The cost was a "Donation" to the RSL. Meals towards the end of the week, but happy hour each night. Log fire and cold beer.

There is a bigger council park right in town but it was quite busy, new ablutions, BBQ`s etc, but out in the open and lots of vans.

There were 6 vans at the RSL. We liked it. It`s well worth a look.

Regards.

Hetho.
