Hi all,

We are looking for anybody who does a bit of singing, entertaining to come to our park in Karumba Queensland and entertain guests. We are open to different talents, maybe bush poetry or anything that would appeal to the Grey Nomad clientelle. We provide a free powered site in return for 1 performance a week. Looking for end of May through to mid August, if you can give a month, a couple of weeks or even the whole time. Give us a call 07-47 459277, ask for Adrian or Nicole. What a great idea, hope it goes well for you. I reckon you should be asking for 3 or 4 performances a week though :)

We were in Yamba 2 weeks ago at the CP in town. There was a guy in the row behind us that on two days around happy hour time set up a sound system with canned background tracks and sang along. His selection was easy listening / country. He was good and he did pull in a number of people to listen. We listened from our site as did a number of other small groups in the vicinity. I did not get his details but maybe someone could put you in touch with him. We normally listen to jazz while we try hard to empty a bottle but he was a welcome change. Cheers,

LOL, we were in a free camp 2016 in Qld "somewhere" and had country music playing some 30 or so metres away. Nice music to. Then two hours later we set off for a walk towards the music and found it was a old fellow playing guitar and singing. He was chuffed we mistook his music for CD's.
