The other day I was looking at painting my satellite to clean it up a bit so I did what you do and Google it, to my surprise the amount of info on painting them was lots even a site on satellite dish artwork so I gave it a go.

Have a care; many paints contain metallic and/or carbon compounds and may (will) degrade signal reception.
