Im interested in comments  pros and cons relating to Iveco and vw motorhomes particularly 2004 through to 2013 models

Iveco branded vehicles are manufactured by Fiat, but are rear wheel drive and very different to the front wheel drives branded as Fiat.
Now an Iveco 4WD will take you almost anywhere :)
They use mostly Fiat made parts but are put together by another company for Fiat.

Iveco are a totally different kettle of fish and are a far better vehicle than the Ducato IMHO. As a rear wheel drive vehicle they are better suited to conversion to a MotorHome having a decent chassis.

I had an old Isuzu motorhome & she never missed a beat.

As I wanted a rear wheel drive it ruled out a lot, so many FWD Fiats. I wanted an Isuzu or Iveco but couldn't find one I could afford with an internal layout I liked so I bought a Sunliner on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis.

If I had a choice it would be between Isuzu & Iveco for sure.
