GME TX3100 installation in an Isuzu MU-X

Hi All,

Just become the proud owner of an MU-X. Had to retire the 2006 Terracan after 245,000km and 12  years of faithful, and almost faultless, service.

Anyway back to the present. Has anybody out installed one of the above UHF CBs in MU-X. If so would appreciate you sharing the details and some photos.

Thanks in advance

Hurls

Good move Hules. You will not regret it one bit.
I have had a fitted GME for many moons now and use it heaps to talk to truckies mainly. Not in a MUX but a Falcon then Prado and now the Collie for the last 4 years.

Hi Dougwe,.

I have the 3200 in my Triton. Great radio.

What I wanted to say was that, like me, you will probably need a few things done seeing as MU-X new.

Anderson plugs, brake controllers, battery isolators etc.

You can probably get a reasonable price for an Auto Electrician to do the lot.

Good luck with the new car.
