Lost any fishing gear?

Seen on Facebook, the finder would like to get some expensive gear back to the owner.

"We found some fishing gear (I will leave it at that) in SA that someone left behind. If people could share this so I can try and get it to the correct owners I would appreciate it. Maybe someone knows a fishing page???"

Cheers Neil

Yes!!!! The best fish haul I have had was some 60 years ago when we used a substance that exploded the water and the stunned fish floated to the top.

The product was an item we use to use to have lighting at night.

I can not recall the name of the product.

Do you know what it was???

My dad used to make fish 'bombs' using Acetone in a Sal Vital tin.  (who remembers that stuff?)

Jay Dee, Carbide is what we used - when mixed with water acetylene is given off smallest spark to ignite.

Some low life ripped the hatch off our toilet while our van was in storage in central Vic. Busted the hinges. Now all the cost an inconvenience of getting it fixed. Why would anyone do that?
