Hi all, I note on Wikicamps the van park at Torbanlea in Qld is showing as closed. Does anyone know if this is permanent or temporary. There is no phone contact number.
I am hoping its temporarily closed, we have just had a week there, enjoy the stay, visited lots of the surrounding district.
The rumors are that the new owners of the caravan park up the road at the next town has put pressure on the council to close this favorite low cost stop over.
The Race course had a 7 day maximum stay over place on it and there was no evidence of this being broken while we there.
Sad if this rumor has any truth behind it. Maybe the Motel in the next town will complain about the caravan park taking his customers because the park has on site motel style accommodation.
