I have two friends with caravans with covers. Both say it is a multi person job to put the cover on the van and a major pain in the bottom to boot. Both also say they very rarely use the covers nowadays.

Covers, even the good expensive ones only last a couple of years in the weather - great as dust covers in a shed. The cost of a simple carport should be considered you can have a section of roof with alsynite to allow solar panel/s to keep tickling up your batteries. You can run a 15amp power outlet to a structure, café blinds can be added for total enclosure. No half day effort to use a cover. Security devices are better when links can be set in concrete floor for attachment to chains. Best of all it doesn't need to be bought again every two / three years.

Having had two Camec covers over the past years and found that they were OK for a while, then deteriorated in the sunlight I suppose. Becoming powdery on the outside and letting water in. I now use a Grey Tarp from Bunnings.
They are the cheaper and last longer. So far after three years very pleased with the "Grey" tarp. (Don't bother with the blue ones)
